I'm Meshack Dawa Asima — a founder, entrepreneur, and activist driven by purpose, resilience, and the belief that every struggle can be turned into a solution.
At 19, a few months after finishing high school at Dandora High School, I jumped straight into the hustle — starting my first venture, Clo'ne, inspired by my love for fashion and authenticity. With little capital, I ran it online, selling one piece per order.
At 20, working as a waiter opened my eyes to opportunity — I saw caterers building a living through events and decided to start Heavdine Catering Services. Though I lacked experience then, that idea planted the seed for everything that came after.
At 21, I started 1Way Credit, a shylocking business aimed at putting my savings to work. It failed, but taught me lessons that later shaped how I build and manage Better Holdings today.
The same year, I created Everyone Deserves Better Foundation (EDB) — to help youth like me find mentorship, skills, and hope.
At 18, my love for tech had already begun at ALX, where I studied software engineering and explored forex trading. By 22, after joining Startup Garage Academy, I learned how to truly build scalable Better Holdings — leading to new creations like:
Bupue, a digital platform empowering creators, learners, and entrepreneurs.
EasyDriver Hire (EDH), simplifying mobility and vehicle hiring services.
Mesh Media, a creative agency that helps startups tell stories that stick.
Now, I'm expanding my expertise in cybersecurity and software engineering, building products that bridge local hustle to the digital future.
Because for me, the goal has always been simple: To turn struggle into strength, and dreams into direction.
"No one is coming to save you — but you can build something that saves others."
"If it's not fair, make it fair by working harder and smarter."
"The world doesn't reward complaints — it rewards creators."
